Kelly Williams - Director

Kelly is the Director of Sunbrook Academy at Legacy Park. She began working for Sunbrook in 1998 at the Towne Lake Hills location as the Lead Teacher in the Sr. Toddler Room. She began working at Legacy Park in 2001 and for a short time served as the Lead Teacher in the Infant and Toddler Rooms. She was quickly promoted to Assistant Director shortly after she began employment at the Legacy Park location.

As the Director, Kelly is responsible for much of the day to day operations, including but certainly not limited to parent relations, student relations, classroom observations, personnel management, special events, and record keeping. With her goal being to own and operate her own Sunbrook Academy, she continues to learn and works in every aspect of the business.

Kelly has recently obtained a nationally recognized Director’s credential called the National Administrator Credential (NAC). Kelly has completed hundreds of hours of child care and child development training, as well as many courses in management. She is also certified Nutrition, Fire Safety, First Aid, and Pediatric CPR.

Kelly was nominated by her coworkers and then named Teacher of the Year by the Georgia Child Care Association in 2002. She continues to take child care and management courses and is also pursuing her Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC).

Kelly enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and has 3 children: Brianna, age 9, Kaison, age 7, and Allana is 11 months. Kelly enjoys scrapbooking and being very involved in Brianna and Kaison’s sports activities. Kelly and her family live in Cartersville.
